Arts Benicia’s December exhibition, Gems IV, Exquisite, Intricate, Intimate Small Works of Art, will include work in a variety of media by local and regional artists, selected by juror Donna Seager. An art exhibition with a focused approach on small-scale works, it is one in a series of special events sponsored by Arts Benicia during its 30th anniversary year. Seager will be present at the opening on December 2, 2-4pm.
Gems IV is intended to present unique, original artwork created in Benicia and the greater Bay Area and offers an intriguing alternative to more commercial shopping. The small scale of the work draws viewers in, creating an intimate, personal experience for the viewer.
