“Feminizing Permanence” features forty historical and contemporary artworks by forty women artists from the Museum’s permanent collection. The recontextualized artworks explore a wide range of themes while collectively speaking to the underrepresentation of women artists in the permanent collections of museums across the country. The exhibition recognizes the contributions of women in the arts and their shared journey toward parity.

Saint Mary’s College Museum of Art (MoA) is an educational, nonprofit resource that acts on the belief that art illuminates our lives and creates a more humane world. The Museum offers free admissions and programs to all and is open to the public, Wednesday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The Museum is closed the week of Easter, April 8-12, 2020.

As an art form, the American political poster through time has conveyed messages to millions of voters through the skillful use of visual communication. Explore rarely seen posters created in the last 168 years that showcase a variety of styles, design trends, and printing technology. “Sign of the Times” is a program of ExhibitsUSA, a national division of Mid-America Alliance and the National Endowment for the Arts.
