Did you know … that Sonoma State University offers students at Solano Community College’s Vallejo campus an upper-division program that leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies? In a unique partnership with the junior college, the program offers a convenient way for Benicia and Vallejo students to obtain a four-year degree at a two-year college—saving students the long commute to the Rohnert Park University. Sonoma State’s courses at the JC cover social sciences, natural sciences and humanities. Classes are taught by Sonoma State faculty on evenings and weekends, and there’s even an online component for working students.
Students who are interested in the program can register online for the Spring 2019 session between Aug. 1 and Nov. 15, 2018. Late applications accepted on a space-available basis. Classes are held at Solano Community College, Vallejo Center, 545 Columbus Parkway, Vallejo.
