Calling all local authors!
On Sunday, November 14, the Benicia Historical Museum will open its doors to welcome local authors to our Book Fair. Come and display your work, visit with fellow authors and chat with the public. If you would like to take part in this event, please contact the Benicia Historical Museum Museum at 707.745.5435 or info@beniciahistoricalmuseum.org.
Christmas Tree Sale & Fundraiser
Working in collaboration with Genesis House of Vallejo, the Museum will hold its First Christmas tree sale. Grand opening is Friday, November 26, at 2060 Park Road. There will be noble fir, douglas fir and grand fir trees of different heights, and wreaths and garlands for you to purchase. While you are celebrating with the presence and aroma of a live tree in your home, you will also be supporting these worthwhile non-profit organizations.
Gift Ideas
While we are thinking of the holidays, what could be better than giving a gift membership to the Museum? This would be a year-long treat to visit the Museum’s History and Industrial Exhibits and the Powder Magazine along with our “Camel Tracks” newsletter and receive invitations to our many events.
Make November a month to walk, hike, bicycle or drive out to the “Camel Barns” to experience the Museum, a true community gem, and support our projects. www.beniciahistoricalmuseum.org
