Benicia’s HQ Gallery on First Street is again running a Fine Art Printmakers Sale and Reception for its printmaking members. This makes the gallery’s second year at 333 First Street, Suite D; near the 621 Gallery and Plein Air Galleries.

 

The HQ gallery is unique in its approach. In addition to showing the works of established artists, emerging members have a chance to exhibit their artistic creations art in a gallery setting. Gallery members work in a range of media that include fabric art, oil and watercolor paintings, pottery, photography, metal sculpture, jewelry, fabric art and mixed media.

The Fine art printmaker’s sale will include original etchings, monotypes, clay prints,  collographs, woodblocks, and mixed media graphic arts. Their works are featured at the gallery in a one-day show and sale April 13. The printmaker sale commences at 10am and runs until 5pm. An artist reception will be held the same day, 2-5pm. HQ Printmakers are inviting the public to stop by and enjoy refreshments, meet the artists and view their latest works that are available for purchase.
