January 19 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Tyson Snow Art Exhibition – Echoes of Humanity

Tyson Snow started showing his work in 2004 in The Marshall Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ. His near-instant success brought a growing public interest in his work. He has been selected and featured as a finalist for the “Cover Art Competition” in the American Artist Magazine (drawing issue). He was also featured in the American Art Collector Magazine several times, as well as other publications and newspapers. Tyson’s work had previously consisted of black and white work; complex drawings created in reverse with white pencil over black substrate. Due to a compelling desire to create in different mediums, Snow began sculpting in clay/ casting in bronze, and oil painting. His ability has allowed him to find early success in both of those mediums.

Tyson has been accepted into several museums and juried art exhibitions where he has been the recipient of 1st place ribbons, merit awards and purchase awards for his paintings and sculpture. Most recently Tyson won first place in the sculpture category through the International Art Renewal Center Salon. Tyson has and continues to install major public bronze works all over the country

Joining Tyson Snow in this exhibition is artist Steve Gordon. His pastel paintings and oil paintings are translations of the dynamic, lyrical, real and abstract qualities that he observes in the unending variety of shapes, colors and textures found in the landscape. They are recreations of a specific moment in time in which light, atmosphere, earth and sky come together in celebration of the simple and profound beauty of nature. He endeavors to instill a sense of immediacy and to totally engage the viewer.
