California Printmakers … Tradition and Innovation

We will have an opening on Saturday, July, 22nd 4-6 pm for two opening exhibitions. The first is California Printmakers…Tradition and Innovation, juried by master printmakers Yuko Nakano and Kazuko Watanabe, both of Kala Art Institute in Berkeley. The exhibition highlights the best in recent California printmaking by 40 artists and features a wide range of printmaking techniques. The second exhibition is Freedom or Slavery: The Paul Robeson Portfolio. The portfolio is comprised of 14 screenprints and accompanying texts and essays, and is on loan from Vallejo Center for the Arts.
