Check out these spots for viewing migrating and over-wintering birds of all kinds. Helping to fill in the blanks, the Napa Solano Audubon Society offers a field trip to American Canyon for a Bird Walk and Migration workshop, Saturday, November 5 at 9am, along with other field trips for bird watching. The organization also provides a three-page checklist of common Solano County birds. If you are lucky, you might even see some of the birds on the threatened and endangered species list including the Cooper’s hawk, Swainson’s hawk, burrowing Owl and Short-eared owl.
