Benicia Main Street's recent "Wine Walk," offering attendees a chance to taste a variety of regional and imported wines in Downtown Benicia, turned out to be a successful event. Fifteen different wines were poured inside participating downtown shops, providing an enjoyable afternoon to “sip, walk, and shop.” Attendees were able to stroll First Street with glass in hand, tasting different wines, from reds to whites to sparkling. Many participating business also offered hors d'oeuvres.
Happening the same day as the Art Walk, residents and visitors alike were able to taste while they looked at galleries and art installations inside the many shops with space on walls to hang prints and paintings.
