Description

Sally Mack has been photographing two northern California wetlands sites, Guadalcanal Village and Cullinan Ranch, for many years. In addition to subjects such as pickleweed, reeds, and water, there are photos of Archaea, a microbe which is a 3-billion year-old life form, one of the oldest on earth. Microbiologist Wayne Lanier, PhD, who identified the Archaea, created a presentation to accompany this exhibit.
