Oops! Correct Information for Household Hazardous Waste at Devlin Transfer Station

In the January print issue of Benicia Magazine, we inadvertently had incorrect informatin regarding dropping off household hazardous waste. The correct information is as follows: As of January 1, 2012, the Devlin Road Transfer Station’s HHW Facility will no longer accept household hazardous waste from Benicia residents.

Please continue to place household batteries, CFLs, and oil filters in Ziploc bags (plus containers with motor oil) next to your brown cart. For more information call Marie Knutson, Allied Waste Services, at 925.671.5814 or visit awsccc.com.

We regret the error!
