Gods in Color: Polychromy in the Ancient World

Nearly 40 reproductions of well-known Greek and Roman artworks painted in brightly colored authentic pigments, are juxtaposed with ancient statues and carved reliefs.

Upcoming Exhibit at Milinda Perry Gallery

After designing books for 40 years, California artist John Tullis discovered the joy of oil painting. His upcoming show, Eyes Wide Open, runs Nov. 1 – Dec. 31.

Benicia Plein Air Gallery November Featured Artist

Local artist Samantha McNally’s plein air watercolor paintings are featured this month at the downtown Benicia gallery, next to Gallery 621 and the HQ Gallery.

Dennis Sheil Exhibit Beyond The Brush At Milinda Perry Gallery

The Milinda Perry Salon in downtown Benicia will host the abstract paintings of internationally recognized local artist Dennis Sheil, through October 31.

Community Theater Adds to a Town’s Social Capital

From her younger days in theater, Christina developed a healthy appreciation for local theater and the volunteer commitment needed to pull off a production. She’s now on the board of the Benicia Old Town Theatre Group.
