Based on results of a citizen survey, the Benicia city council is looking to draft an ordinance by the end of the year to decide whether or not to allow marijuana dispensaries and/or commercial cultivation.
The late, renowned artist Jack Laycox’s paintings will be exhibited July 10-September 10 at the Milinda Perry Gallery in downtown Benicia. A reception for Cydne Kaye, Laycox’s niece, will be held July 28, 5-7pm, 117 East F Street.
