Bio: Fary Koh, BrickSpace Owner, Loves Working With Kids

Fary Koh exemplifies the old adage, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” Trying to learn English as a child escaped Fary, but she went on to study at a Canadian Boarding School and received a full-ride scholarship to Michigan State University and has had a distinguished career, including her current business as owner of Benicia BrickSpace. She has a passion for working with kids.

Benicia’s Jerry Hayes, former mayor, is the president of the Benicia Historical Society and is pursuing the restoration of the Von Pfister General Store, one of the oldest buildings in California. It’s a three-phase project, with stabilization of the building being the first phase.

BHS Alum Vincent Lee Graduates From The Coast Guard Academy

Among other awards, Vincent Lee, 2012 Benicia High School alum, graduated with honors and a special award from the United States Coast Guard Academy. Lee is commissioned to Alameda in September as a deck watch officer on the ship “Monroe.”
